Terms of Service
Effective date: July 6, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Cantaria (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Cantaria is a browser-based musical arcade game. You can play freely without an account, or create an account to save your high scores and profile across devices. All music tracks are either public-domain traditional songs or original compositions created for Cantaria.
3. Accounts
You may create an account using email and password or through Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: abuse, harass, or harm others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; interfere with the Service's operation; use automated tools to scrape or manipulate the Service; or violate any applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
The Cantaria name, logo, visuals, and original code are owned by Cantaria. The music in the game is either public-domain or original and licensed for use within the Service. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the music or game assets without permission.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" for entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we are not responsible for any hearing or device damage caused by playing at high volumes. Use your device responsibly.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cantaria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — which is zero for free users.
8. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page, and the effective date will be updated. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cantaria operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If you have questions about these Terms, please reach out through the contact methods available in your account settings.
